Ingersoll used those as promo items when they introduced the lifetime Warranty. The umbrella was to support their "Total Owner Protection" program and was to illustrate that everything was covered. They sent a couple with no handles in a POP display package to hang from the ceiling and then recommended that dealers purchase them in case quantities and give one to anyone purchasing a tractor as a gift.

I have one I opened and was going to hang in the garage. It is now dirty from just sitting on a shelf in the garage.

Then I have another that is still in the wrapper.

But, just think about that. A lifetime warranty. Amazing.

My 4118 came with the Top warranty. But didn't get an umbrella.

Just had to take it in every year.

I think it was a voluntary program and not every dealer participated. Not sure how many umbrellas you had to order but maybe a small dealer who only sold a couple of tractors a year couldn't justify it.
