I've used this in the past and to me it's a perfect, indistinguishable match. Krylon ColorMaxx Gloss Sweet Cream

Hopefully you can find it easier/cheaper than this..

Tremclad gloss sand is the closest I can find so far . Not sure how close it will be or if it will look right against the Power Red ( DE1607 Chevy ) . Anyone know how close Tramclad gloss sand is ?

Any craft shops or places like that Dave in your area. Micheals.com, places like that might have some thing close.
Other thing I wondered is, if the 20 lb propane bbq tanks that were cream/almond colour, would that be a close colour. Home Hardware use to have a colour like that.

There are several Case dealers West of Toronto. Here's a list of all Ontario Case IH dealers.
And here's the price for the spray can or the 1 quart container here in Canada. It shows you the price online if you choose a dealership, and for example I chose a dealership in New Hamburg. Choosing this dealer allowed to add to the cart 1 spray or 1 can of paint. But other dealers force you to buy 6 at a time. Plus you don't know what stock they have. I don't know, maybe we can organize a group buy of some sort, us guys from Ontario that are close enough to cross paths and spread the goods.

I going to try and find a virgin peace of steel that I can buff the under side and see if the paint shop can photo scan it and tint some white tremclad to match . What is on the hood was brushed on , so don't know if it is the correct colour or not . It does seam close .

The quart is a better price for the quantity, and being the right colour and quality is not a bad choice. If only we had a dealer closer to us.

I found in my pile of "stuff " a virgin piece of Desert Sunset back side no fade . I am going to see if the local hardware store can colour match some rust paint . They have a optical scanner .

So if you get the mix your happy with, could you send the mix ratio to me, then I could go to the Home Hardware store here and get it mixed. Some day might paint the 224. Thanks.

Dave, over here by me we have an auto parts store than can scan paint and then mix it into a rattle can. They will make any color you want. They put them in the taller spray can something like 18oz. Last I remember i paid around $15-18 a can US. Wonder if there is anything around you that puts paint into rattle cans?

Broke down and bought a top loader spray gun . Now to use it I have to create a spray booth area to use it . Which means another project I don't have time for right now .

I have used most of the paint from the dealer that I purchased. It was around $14 a can for the spray can bombs. The Desert Sand is Case paint and the Flamebeau is TISCO. I used some of the Flamebeau next to Case Power Red and they look identical to me.
Keep the Peace

Do you have any idea of what brand paint they mix. I can come up with several automotive colors that match. It is hard to believe that none of your parts place or farm supply company's don't carry it. I have bought it in the US at tractor Supply, Atwood's, and several others. Majestic brand, also Van Sickle make sure you don't get Desert Tan, it is a heavy equipment color and used for camouflage painting. It doesn't match well One automotive paint I know works well be kind of costly is.
These numbers may be out of date but a good paint supplier/mixer should be able to mix it. As far as I know we are not having that much trouble getting it. It was used on Garden tractors as well as 100 and 30 series big tractors.
