A visit from a friend

Had a nice visit from a friend last evening . When you are house bound for the most part with your wife as your nurse maid . The value of like minded conversation is priceless . Love my wife and we do have lot in common but differ in many way as well.We have been together for 25 years now . This is also each of us second marriage. My wifes birthday present this year , which is at the end of the month . Is for me to be there and able to say Happy birthday . Caring for me 24/7 is not easy . Sometimes she needs her own space . Me having someone else to talk to is as benificial for her as it is for me . Thanks Bud

I know what your talking about Dave. A few years ago I had an operation on my ankle and my wife took care of me because I couldn't get up and move about very well. I usually get together to have a few libations on Thursday nights with some neighbors and could do that for a few weeks. They came over to my house one Thursday evening to visit and that was very nice of them.

Boy I can relate to that more than I could in the past. About 6 weeks ago, I had shoulder surgery on my left shoulder, thank God! My wife has had to help me more than I planned on! At least I am right handed!!! Starting to come out of it. Surgeon says I am much farther ahead than he expected. That's a good thing right? Still get sore, but much better. Ice and Tylenol have helped a lot.

Get better Dave, and get back to work on your CCI tractors!!
