Colt Case Ingersoll Garden Tractors

This afternoons project was building a simple carryall for the NH 1510. Been thinking about building something for a while but didn't want or have time for a big, time consuming project. Really looking something to carry out firewood and get around in the woods easier than a trailer.
I've had this set of forks someone had welded up to hook on a loader bucket. They are welded up too wide for a pallet and have been sitting around for years. I thought I would have to weld on some brackets and pins for the 3pt and never looked further into it, didn't have time.

Well last month I was cutting some wood and got to thinking about it again. Dragged the forks out and did a little measuring, there were already some holes in some brackets. All I had to do was put the bolt on pins in. I'll have to fab up a bracket for the toplink but a chain works for now.
Good little project for a nice afternoon.
Wish I would have gotten my tape measure out a long time ago.

All ways nice to get to do a little creative mucking about in the shop. ANd to have a handy piece after is a bonus .

Tim looks like a great project that you made. With the carryall loaded with wood it would give your GT some added rear weight for traction. Harry

And I don't have much in it, 6- 2x4's, some screws and the two pins. My brother gave me the forks and I had the 3/4 treated plywood for a trailer bed project that's not going to happen.

Thanks Harry, that little tractor really needs the weight on the rear, it will let me carry more in the front bucket.

Looks like it turned out great! You’ll find a bunch more uses than getting fire wood!
