3pt. Carryall

Post by Timj »

This afternoons project was building a simple carryall for the NH 1510. Been thinking about building something for a while but didn't want or have time for a big, time consuming project. Really looking something to carry out firewood and get around in the woods easier than a trailer.
I've had this set of forks someone had welded up to hook on a loader bucket. They are welded up too wide for a pallet and have been sitting around for years. I thought I would have to weld on some brackets and pins for the 3pt and never looked further into it, didn't have time.

Well last month I was cutting some wood and got to thinking about it again. Dragged the forks out and did a little measuring, :headbash: there were already some holes in some brackets. All I had to do was put the bolt on pins in. I'll have to fab up a bracket for the toplink but a chain works for now. :weld1:
Good little project for a nice afternoon. :smash:
Wish I would have gotten my tape measure out a long time ago. :106:

Tim looks like a great project that you made. With the carryall loaded with wood it would give your GT some added rear weight for traction. :peace: Harry

And I don't have much in it, 6- 2x4's, some screws and the two pins. My brother gave me the forks and I had the 3/4 treated plywood for a trailer bed project that's not going to happen. ;)

Thanks Harry, that little tractor really needs the weight on the rear, it will let me carry more in the front bucket.

Looks like it turned out great! You’ll find a bunch more uses than getting fire wood!
