antique homemade GTs
After showing the Ac B-112 at the show I called one of my dads brothers looking for pictures of my grandfathers Allis Chalmers dealership . Havent come up with anything yet , but my uncle did tell me about 2 homemade GTs that my Great Grandfather made in the early and mid 1940's . Here is the kicker , they still survive and are in my great uncle Bobs shed . Unfortunatly I can't get to them right now as he has Alzihmers and is attached to them right now . But the familey knows I want to preserve them . I vagly remember seeing one when i was young and it to me looked like it was made from a modle A car parts . Turns out that it is made from a "Star" car parts oak frame rails , Indian motor cycle trans to the car trans and cut down rear end powered by single cylinder B&S engine . The other one I have never seen . Not only are they apart of history , but my family history . Hopefully one day I can upload pics of them .
