444 wheel wobble
Well I drove the 444 with log splitter on rear to my neighbors house down the street. WOT and it never skipped a beat. Split his smoking wood up in the rain just to get it done. Soaked to the skin drove the 444 with splitter on back home WOT again. It ran great in high gear but had to slow down to control the GT. I was getting wheel wobble very bad and didn’t want to lose control. The only difference was the road was wet in the pouring rain. Any ideas guys? It’s not very often I would drive WOT in high gear on the road.

Re: 444 wheel wobble
Just the regular turf tires that were on it when I acquired it, which are probably original. I think I figured it out guys. Since I drove home in the rain and I pulled the 444 into the shop I wanted to wipe it off. I put my foot ip on a front tire and realized how much play there is in the axle pin. I haven’t used this GT much, I haven’t even put the mowing deck on it. So most of the driving has been in low range. I guess I need to machine a new axle pin.
