Studebaker pulled out of storage.
Son took it out today. Not going to be a lot done, I don’t think. Son was just in one of his moods to change things around. He’d like to get it yard driveable. No brakes on it and hard to get some of those parts I guess. Needs a carb kit. And few other things. We had it running a year or so ago. First time up on hoist. So he can get a much better look at it.
Never seen rear leaf springs wrapped before with grease nipples. Any body ever seen that.

That is a great project. I hope you guys get it going. Even if it doesn’t see the road it would be the coolest yard buggy in town!

@Propane57 my dad talked about greasing between the leaf spring for a smother ride.

My guess is that it was a kit to quiet the rear leafs .

@Propane57 that's a nice project car! You might have to convert it to propane Noel, considering the price of gas today
oh no!
btw, I had a ford crown vic that ran on propane once.

An old vehicle deserves new life, if possible. Look at our tractors. If we sold them for what we have in them, oftentimes they would never sell. Particularly, if we counted the labor!

Natural gas . Pizza and beer is cheaper than gasoline .

Re: Studebaker pulled out of storage.
The cost to convert it to run on propane would be expensive. Could by some gas with that.
And around here very limited places to fill. And the poor old car might only make 100 hp maybe. Propane would reduce that.
