Unfortunately this applies to me so much. It's not that I don't like to do things right the first time, but I feel so pressed by time and other life priorities, that I tend to get dragged into the feeling that if only I get it to work now so I get the job done, I'll surely have more time next week/next month/next year. This is something I want to change about myself now.

We all do it. Delayed maintenance isn’t always bad, sometimes you gotta to what you gotta do to get the job done. It’s just when you realize you have a piece of equipment that is held together with more bailing wire that bolts that it kind of hits you!

I believe this applies to a lot of people, especially when they have a JOB. Once I retired I had to keep telling myself to slow down and enjoy the ride. Now it's been a little over two years and it's starting to sink in. It may take me awhile to complete a project but the satisfaction is tremendous!

Mine tries to remind me of this "happy wife happy life," all the time. The only time she is happy is when she is . Go figure!
