FYI: Danfoss

Post by thebuildist »

Perhaps everyone knows this except me. But I just found out today: the tcv on my Ingersoll 4020 was manufactured by Danfoss.

I had always been mildly curious who actually manufactured it. And my TCV that I'm working on has a tag right on it that says Danfoss 199A.

A little googling tells me that Danfoss no longer is in the hydraulic valve business. They have sold the entire business dies molds and all to Quality Controls Corporation. QCC calls their line of valves Duke/EHV

Fwiw

That's interesting Bob, some of the hydraulic motors were made by Webster, some of them were also branded Danfoss. They then became QCC. :hm: guess that makes sense.
