Nu Finish Breathes New Life Into Your Old Paint

Post by Ingersoll3118D »

Figured I'd share a tip on what I use to make my tractors look nice(r). Here's a 220 I picked up recently, it had the typical sun bleached and oxidized paint from being left outside over the years, with all of it's shine gone. I don't normally restore my tractors, as I use them to do work, but I like them to look as nice as they can in their original paint. Nu Finish shines the old paint up like you wouldn't believe. I've used Meguiar's car wax with good results in the past, but personally think the Nu Finish does a better job and is easier and faster to deal with. No, I don't work for the company or have any connections with them, I'm just a happy customer.

Nice tractor and looks like you did an excellent job!
Hopefully we all will be a little more active when the weather changes some.

When I was painting my winter project 444, my wife said your spending a lot of time working on that tractor to get it to look new. It's just to cut grass or are you going to sell it. :wife: Nothing is for sale dear, is what I told her! ;) ;)

Keep the Peace :cop:

I guess that is not the point where you point out the obvious about makeup and ask "are you putting your self up for sale "

It’s great stuff that Nu Finish. My uncle used to use it on his lawn tractor. It was a Murray, was dark red sorta wine colour. Sure looked nice. Uncle is dead 19 years now. My cousin took the lawn mower to Ottawa, sentimental attachment to the tractor for him. I was suppose to get it back after my cousin was done with it. Well my cousin died in 2008. Of course never saw the mower again. It was a 1990 model tractor.
