Fat truck

Post by Harry »

I was headed to go get some items from a store the other day and saw a National Grid truck pulling a trailer with an odd-looking vehicle on the back. I did my shopping and seen it again so I stopped and took some pics. The employee said they use it for accessing the powerlines which sometimes are in some very remote areas. It's called a Fat Truck, enjoy the pics.

Keep the Peace :cop:

Looks like a Sherp truck. Not sure if Fat truck and Sherp are the same or not...

The Grid employee told me the Sherp was a Russian vehicle, and he thought the Fat Truck was made in Illinois. I never googled it to see where it was made.
