cheap , ineffective replacements

close to what it would have come with

how it did come originally

My grandson likes this type , looks like a machine gun .

What to do , :hm: I can eliminate the cheap ones and long frame won't fit this tractor .

Duals out the back. Hehe.

Noel

Oh ya, put a X or H pipe in the duals to give you the power advantage. Hehe.

@DavidBarkey

I tried and tried to find a replacement type muffler for the twin muffled Case Onan tractor. I never really tried it but thought these may work. They are Walker Sound FX mufflers for A Geo Metro Part number 18192.

I really don't like dealing with the Case tractors with Onans. I try to stay with the older ones that used Kohler engines.

As far as stacks the best looking ones I have ever seen were twin stacked Harley Davidson mufflers. I will try to find a picture of them. A guy from Australia made them.

I had a Case 195 one time that someone had done that to it but only single muffler. Actually worked pretty well. Will see if I can find picture of it when I first found it setting in field. Not a good picture but

@DavidBarkey you've opened up a sore point for all our tractors. If you want something close to OEM there's a guy on FB (Scott Lucy or something like that) that was building mufflers for the Onans. Might be pricey, I don't know.

I had stacks on my 226 and I have to tell you there wasn't much muffling done by those. It sounded like a bigger tractor, deep bass kinda thing. The more I use the tractor though, the more I seem to like less pounding noise in my ears.

BTW, I agree with Jake, the machine gun version looks nice!!!

@Doublet we are birds of a feather, I like the Kohler K321 more than my Onan because my Onan makes me smell like exhaust! :109:
