I can't find one . But this is what I used for a guide . To make mine . Mine has a plate that attaches to the 3pt. sleeve hitch adapter

How do you find that works Dave. I’ve tried a bunch of ideas over the years, and some sorta worked some not. So last two years I’ve been shovelling them out. Almost put myself in the hospital last year from it. So, cutting the potatoe production in half this year.
Last few years dug 500 to 600 lbs. Biggest year once was 1200 lbs.

I used my Brinly moldboard plow but it wasn't ideal. Still easier than digging. Very much would like to build something like Dave's middle buster!

I’d like to get a 16” single sod Plow for the Ferguson. That would work good. The 10” brinley Plow worked but not wide enough.

The above pic is similar to a horse drawn unit we have at my folks place that was a dedicated spud picker. The screen area on ours is hinged, and rides on a square wheel that gives it a bump to help get dirt to release leaving the potatoes on top of the dirt.
Apart from the annoyance of trying to control that thing walking behind an 8N, if the soil conditions were right, it worked quite nicely. It beats the heck out of working a fork if you're doing more than a few plants, but if it was more than 2 or 3 rows, I'd spend the time getting the PTO powered White digger going again.

1200lbs we usually on do between 1&2 hundred pounds . tops
It works ok , but you still have to go back and pick through . I have had one of these in the works on and off the last couple of years .

Well my vertion of it . The plan is first pass get tater on top , let dry for a week then second pass to pick them up and put in wire basket tagging along behind .

It works ok , but you still have to go back and pick through . I have had one of these in the works on and off the last couple of years .
