About 14F or -10C .. talk about confusing. :D I'm comfortable using lbs or kg for everything weight, and inches in construction and fabrication, but kilometres in large distances and km/h in speed; I'm obviously comfortable with litres in volume, or gallons, or quarts, but don't feel ounces in either volume or weight. then I'm comfortable with Fahrenheit in cooking, but when it comes to weather, I'm still not used to F. I mean, 14F sounds like a balmy day to me :))) when in fact ice is frozen solid!!!! :107:

Yep same confusion here. Back in the 70's President Jimmy Carter got the US started on the conversion to the metric system the rest of the world uses. Following presidents with a superiority complex decided the world should change to our system, And undid everything Pres Carter had done. So we are stuck using a mix of both.

Speaking of ice, last weekend there was a outdoor hockey tournament. The news keep talking about how they had to heat the ice, because it was too cold and brittle with the sub 0 F temps.

So this tractor is at the back of the pile. Snow not even here yet and it’s broke. So here’s the line up. And the 446 ain’t part of it.

I’m not sure Dave. Was just drive around the house to but it back in the garage. Spring was still hooked up to the lever. So the lever that the spring hooks to that stick out the front. Some how dropped and it caught in the ground and flipped its self under the tractor. But I don’t know how it would do that with the spring still hooked to it. I have not got under the tractor yet to have a look, but I’d say things are bent fairly well. Just one of those tractor that’s nuthin but trouble. I finally just got it to operate with out throwing the belt a couple weeks ago.

We are getting our first decent snow storm in a few hours. Forecast is 6-10" (15-25cm). Its been 40-50F here for weeks. I have plans to play in the snow with our 2 year old. It will be her first time playing in a decent amount of snow.
