Re: Fibreglass cabs
The link takes me to a signup page.
If that's old school fiberglass you may not need to add extra weight to the tractor
As long as they use stainless hardware, it would be nice to have a rust free cab

Re: Fibreglass cabs
Yeah, you need to see it on Facebook and be part of the Case group there. Some fellow builds them in Waterloo

Re: Fibreglass cabs
I don't do FB. But when someone posts a link to Marketplace I can usually open it OK.

Re: Fibreglass cabs
Gordy, you can browse Marketplace without having a Facebook account, just can't reply to listings.
I hate that almost everything for sale in my area has moved to marketplace from craigslist. After to many issues getting through the war department, I broke down and got an account, just for buying things.
If you search garden tractor listings in the Waterloo IA area his Marketplace listing comes up. Something is goofed up in my phone and I can't get it to copy the link.

Re: Fibreglass cabs
Here you go
It says $500 in the title but in the text $600. I wonder if any of the windows are glass. And wish there was a website listed for better info.

Re: Fibreglass cabs
I wrote a reply on the phone last night and I turned around and the reply was gone
Anyway, when you're part of a group that has a buy & sale component it will feed some of those items to your Marketplace view. It's annoying to me, because I only want to see local buy and sale items, but the Case group is mostly US and I'd rather not see that mixed in with my local Marketplace feed.
The Facebook Case Colt Ingersoll group is very active, but I don't like so much the format, as it lacks the structure a forum has, and it's difficult to find stuff that goes back in history. Remember when I posted there that I created this forum @ssmewing? My post got deleted very quickly
In my opinion our forum is not a direct competition to that group, as these two formats are completely different and they don't have to be mutually exclusive.
Anyways, the Facebook marketplace has pretty much destroyed all other second hand buy and sell sites. It's just a fact. I don't like dishing out my life on Facebook, but it's nice to see what friends are up to.

Re: Fibreglass cabs
My wife is on FB, and when we shared a computer (15 years ago) she would occasionally leave FB open. So I'd have a look, She had friended some of my relatives. And post they madeI don't like dishing out my life on Facebook, but it's nice to see what friends are up to.
And yes the wife got several
That and I spent way too much time working on the PC because FB told the wife she needed this or that update, and she never read the fine print to see that they were adding search engines and other app's (all refusable) along with the updates. At one point she had 8 search engines on the screen
