I still hope that America will be one day the country I dreamed going to but never happened. Where veterans of war are taken care of, where senators and congressmen put the skillful and hard working Americans first, where farmers are above Hollywood, and True Christians have a say. We stayed cool today. Watched some fireworks tonight from a nearby rich neighborhood from our front porch. Tomorrow we will have family over for a small cookout. Tomorrow should be 80F, 12F cooler than today. It's been high 90's for a few days.

Enjoyed the day celebrating my grandson’s 18 birthday and high school graduation. Just close family with some food from the grill. Thought the weather was going to turn to rain but it blew over and a good time was had by all.
