Selling a 226

Post by Harry »

I posted on marketplace a 226 the other day, no interest yet. This is a project I found that has been setting inside the back of my lean to. With all of the other projects I have to do I know I’ll never get to this one. I was asking $200 for this GT which is not running.

Great deal for some close by, the TCV with integrated holding valve is worth your asking price, and then you have a steering wheel that brings $100 used.

Of course, I wouldn't be inclined to part it out as my nature is to fix things. Grandpa always told me "if a man built it, a man can fix it".

That's why I have more projects than I will ever get to as well.

Bob, I’m very slowly getting rid of some of those projects that I know I’ll never get to. For me it’s a matter of changing my mindset. That way I can concentrate on projects that I will enjoy.
