@DavidBarkey
This belongs to a friend. I can get more photos if you want. He lays drip under the plastic at the same time as the cover.

Yes please Eugene . I was given an older homemade cat 1 unit with 2 rolls of 24" I want to scale it down to make it work on Frankie . I hope it will reduce weeding time during summer . Anyone one with experience in using this stuff that can share some insights would help too .

Re: Cat 0 plastic mulch layer
Here is what I have done so far . Hope to try it out today . This morning's work is adding a shaper to the hiller/bedder to tighten up the rows before using the plastic mulch layer .

@DavidBarkey I am sorry about the delay in adding photos. These were sent to me as .heic extensions. They had to be covered to .jpeg for uploading, wich is possible on cell phone.
There is a pan in front of and under the roll that mounds the row before covering.

He puts down drip irrigation tube under the plastic st the same time the plastic is being placed. The mount for the tubing is on the middle of the unit, hanginging under the black tote.
