2002 Chevy Silverado

Trucks, cars, boats, motorcycles, snowmobiles. If you can drive it and it has an engine but it's not a tractor, it fits here.

2002 Chevy Silverado

Post by DavidBarkey »

New to me 2002 Chevy Silverado given to us by my father inlaw when they got 2018 F150 . Body wise , it is in great shape . Has been well oiled from day one . Needs some mechanical to pass safety . Nothing major , parking brake , ABS system , axle seal , drivers door pins . He left the insurance on it until June so could work on it and keep it mobile . Have been working away at it and have it almost done . My Dakota will become my grandson Jacobs :51: truck . He goes for his G2 next month allowing him to drive on his own with some restrictions for a year then he can go get his full G lic.

looks like this one with the suiside rear doors 4.8 V8. This will make hauling the bigger trailer a lot easier . Have to check and see if it has an aux tranny cooler on it yet .

Congrads on the new to you truck. My brother in law has the same truck, same engine, about the same year. Runs... always has had electrical gremlins with the HVAC and power windows/door locks. Recently reattached the bed... its job now is to push a small plow and do a few driveways. It gets the job done
