Frankie is pretty strong for its size , but he can't lift an end of the axles or drag sideways even just a little to turn it . Only roll it back and forth . Not sure what the axle assembly weight , but it is a a lot .

Good question on the weight of that axle assembly - I scratched my head for a bit :pullhair: went on an internet hunt for some possible answers - closest I could find :letmesee: - a single axle semi-trailer dolly weighs in around 3000 lbs - I think you were giving Frankie a good workout trying to even pick up one end of that assembly... :hm:

I bought a used tow bar that was rated for 5000lbs. Bolted it to the dollies and put on my magnetic lights . Off I went to the autowreckers . Must have been quite the sight . It weighed in at 3820lbs. Actually towed really well . $230 :canada: for my troubles less $80 for the folding tow bar that I now own . I might resell it .

a little over 8 feet wide on inside , lots of room to hang stuff on the braces .

a most 9 feet head room , less the snow load bracing that will double as the structure to carry barn door box rail to aid in moving parts and motors in and out .

Yep, Old Barn track is very handy. This is up in my barn's haymow, found a 1 ton chain hoist to hang on it.

I used a toolbox to capture the chain where it comes out of the hoist. It incredibably handy to move tractor frames and parts up into the haymow for storage..
