Post by RoamingGnome »

Wandering dusty corners of the interwebs today I stumbled across a page for "the Prairie Farm Report" https://prairiefarmreport.com :writing:

The link with the Minneapolis Moline A4T 1600 brought back lots of memories from about 1973-74.

This started out as wheel bearing failure. Dad gouged the axil when torching the inner race off. The axil broke at the gouge several days after the bearing was replaced.

I put over 600 hours on that that tractor in 3 months. Our A4T had rear 3 pt and pto. It came from the factory with an under coat of Oliver green on the frame. The tractor scaled a bit over 24,000 lbs.
