Re: Two Case 646's, MA and RI
Matt, that is a nice write-up on the second ad.
Case 646 tractor with loader- Made in USA and punches way above its weight, designed to be a small commercial piece of construction equipment versus a lawn/garden tractor with a loader added. Great for a homeowner machine or landscaping business. These machines have a large hydraulic system for their size- lifts 700lbs at full height (6ft), over 1000lbs off the ground. Comes with rear weight box and wheel weights to allow you to take advantage of the full lift capacity safely.
16.5hp Onan CCKA engine, hydraulic drive with high and low range so no belts/gears to wear out and need replacement. Small enough to fit through garden gates, small backyards, etc. where other loaders cannot. 108” L x 41” W x 43” H. Heavy enough to be a workhorse but won’t tear up your lawn the way a bigger machine might.
Recently had a lot of work done at a local shop- new hydraulic lines, replaced coupling between engine and transmission, fixed mid PTO, adjusted valves, general tuneup. There is one leak from the lower hydraulic cylinder that I haven’t fixed as it’s slow enough that it doesn’t affect anything and reservoir is still full. Starts right up and everything works- ready to be put to work!
