We just had the wettest April on record. I didn’t care for it much but it looks like it made my little hay field happy.

Rain rain go away. It has rained almost every day and it’s still raining as I write this. If this keeps up I’ll be planting rice. :106: :peace: Harry

I had the same thought about around here the other day! I’m hoping we’re about to break out of the rainy weather.

Ghost and myself knock off for the day around 6. We have spent the evening kicked back on the front porch.

The forecast was for a hot dry summer. So far that’s been a bust. On and off rain for the last two weeks. We had over 3 inches over the past week still raining now. I hate to complain but there just not much you can do around here in the wet. Oh well it will probably get so hot and dry I’ll be begging for rain soon!

Yea, the rain chased me in 3 different times today. May was a washout mostly. June has calmed down in terms of quantity, but it just keeps throwing these little pissy showers at me on a daily basis...

Interesting how variable the weather can be from one area to another. Here in the corn belt, we only had 1" of rain the entire month of May, surprisingly, the germination was adequate, however the seedlings are just sitting there with little growth. Rainfall seems to have a way of evening out over the season, let's just hope that it all doesn't come at once.

I was going to rototill a garden section that appears to be dry enough. Now rain this afternoon and more tomorrow. :pullhair: :43: :dizzy: Harry
