I thought working on GT’s was tough getting into tight places. Installing a dish washer and a water filter under the kitchen sink was extremely difficult. Laying on the kitchen floor with only four inches of space to hook ip electrical and water tine was a PITA. Of course there were a few four letter words spoken. came out and tried to settle me down and she laid on the floor to install toe kick plate and insulation. Then she started to say four letter words. She said next time we will pay someone to install this. I said I’ll sit back and watch them to make sure they are not cutting corners and I may learn something in the process. I’m glad that job is done. Harry
@Harry The idea of you and your wife laying on the floor yelling four letter words struck my funny! I know it was aggravating for both of you but thank you for the smile.
I’m glad you got it done, I’m sure you won’t have to deal with that for a long time now.
Hopefully you didn't buy one of those new bosch dishwashers which requires an app on your phone to activate basic features... wait till they start charging for washing your dishes in the dishwasher you already paid for
I installed our bosch in covid... wife wanted a bosch because everyone in her family has one and loves it... its reasonably quiet, has cheap flimsy rack slides and the firmware locks up requiring me to push the reset button bosch conveniently placed on the control panel... couldn't they have just fixed the damn locking up problem instead of adding a reset button? Bit of a sore spot lol... Wish I had tried harder to convince the wife we needed the kitchen aid dishwasher ($300 more). The racks are solid and glide in and out.

We purchased all GE appliances, dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. The GE had the lowest decibel rating at 41 decibels. Harry
We purchased GE washer and dryer a few years ago for around $2000. Wife loves them... My GE dehumidifier pump died at just over a year old. GE gave me $200 towards a new one (around $280) out of warranty. I gave the in laws the old one. Still works. Just have to dump it.
The refrigerator won’t get below 40 degrees and it’s turned up and runs constantly. Called them before 48 hours and they are delivering another one on Saturday. I hope this one is better. Harry

Harry , make sure there is not anything underneath blocking air flow to and from the condenser coils . Like packaging that they for got to remove .
