Agreed ,fresh fallen snow looks great untill you have to clean it up . It is bad enough days are so short as it is without waisting it clearing snow . Yesterday we got some more snow . This time I went out while still dark and cleared just the drive quick . That way it didn't waist my day light hours . Having a cab with lots of lights on it sure helps .

Since it’s a kind of dreary mid winter day I thought a couple 648 digging pictures might be nice.

I’ve got a little compost pile I wanted to turn over and the 648 could use a bit of run time and since the snow is all melted why not! The battery had to be charged since it’s been sitting for awhile but other that that it fired right up.
Into the shop to check fluids and give it shot of fresh gas.

And away we go down to the pile.

Not much left but what’s here will go on the garden before long.
Hopefully spring will be here before we know it!

Now here's something a little different. Many households raise a pig in the rural areas here. We slaughtered a 370 lbs saw in December, and these items were kept for 6 weeks rubbed with salt. The other day I proceeded to smoke them.

Like to know more @Eugen . What bread do they raise over there ? How are they kept and do they graze or dig everything up like the ones over here ?
