Re: Snow removal equipment
I can understand the pain of re/re the cabs . I saw a lot of those comments when building my first one and decided just to make it a year round cab . The tractors sit out side all summer , so the cabs keep the weather off the seat and dash . I made easy remove doors (old jeep style ) and painted the roof white to reflect the sun . Doors on them make a nice ride in rainy weather , seeing as mine do a lot work around our little farm . Their my work horses . Grass cutting is done buy the old Bolens 944 frame steer (made in Sweden ). One day I would like to make a front deck frame steer like it from my extra Case parts , if I ever live that long to get my other projects finished .

Re: Snow removal equipment
I put the cab on today. Possible first snow storm tomorrow... 0-1"
One of these years I'll put some LED flood lights on the cab.

@MattA I can attest to the fact of having LED lights over head shining down is great . Even when the snow is blowing you do not get the same glare back that you do from grill mounted lights . Field of view is so much better .
These are the ones I use on my tractor cabs . Fairly cheap , low draw and yet to have an issue with any of them . Can usually get a pair for 30
tax in .

Re: Snow removal equipment
Those lights look like the ones my son uses on his Ford 1210 compact tractor. Great light from them. But not working at the moment. May not be the lights fault. Could be wiring troubles.

Re: Snow removal equipment
I installed a light bar on my 446 snow machine but never use it because I always move snow during the day.

Re: Snow removal equipment
I usually snow blow during the day too.
Cab keeps me good and dry. No need to wear a heavy coat. The cab has decent ventilation holes by the foot boards.
We got about 1/4" of snow... my parents 30 minutes northwest of here got several inches.

Re: Snow removal equipment
The topic of cab ventilation while snowblowing tends to come up once in awhile. This is one side of the CB34 cab's vents. Both sides are the same.
