This is the week we planed on putting a shovel in the ground bur alas, no permit in hand. The best I can hope for is next Monday, a week from now. The 646 has been pulled of clean up duty and snow blower attached. Weather guessers are saying a warmer next week. That would help the building start.

I'm curious about your 646 snowblower setup.

Spike the video shows blower on a 400 series GT. Do you currently have it mounted on a 600 series GT? :peace: Harry

@Harry The 448 has the starter off for repair. With all of the activities going on this winter, the 448 will probably not get put back together. The 646 is earning its keep this fall.

Excavator arrived this morning about 8:30. It was 34 and foggy. The first order of business was taking out a tree.

The track hoe was brand new on it's first dig. There was a bit of a learning curve on on setting up the auto depth control. Once the Lazer and shovel were zeroed in the site took shape rapidly.

The base of the footing will be 4ft below grade and topped with a 2 foot stem wall above grade.

@DavidBarkey Stem walls will need to 6 hours above freezing. We may have to heat. A temporary tarped structure is being planned for the floor pour. It will be heated for smooth finishing and about 6 hours curing. Our target for the floor is next Wednesday. Weather is suppose to be on our side then.
