Winter preparations

Post by Harry »

Spent most of the afternoon changing out machines. I’ve had the battery maintainer on the GT’s in the lean to and they all started up with no problem, that was a plus. Also took some time to remove tire chains and wheel weights from the 226 that are going on the mini loader. The lean to is stuffed and didn’t get in the 644 lbh. I’m hoping to get it in when the 646 is moved to the shop for the cab install project. :peace: Harry

@Harry looks like you put in overtime hours and a lot of footwork.

Looks good Harry. It was a beautiful day here to be outside. This afternoon I removed my RM48 deck and hydravac. Both were scraped out (deck was really bad). I also greased up my tractor and put on my SB48 snowcaster. :wife: wasn't too happy with me :violin: :hitsfan:

A man can never have enough storage space for his stuff . :wife: s tend to call it other things until you do something they want with it . Then it is "well I guess it is handy to have around "
Oh the seasonal shuffle :headbash: glad you had a good day for it Harry .I got some stuff done , but there is still more to go .

She would be less happy with you if it didn't get done before snow flies and she had to help shovel . just saying .

You're well ahead of me... Still dealing with leaves. Probably one more load to clean up Thanksgiving week after the sugar maple that hangs on forever finishes... After that the 444 get's the caster installed.
I did get the back blade on the 8N today. Didn't do the chains yet. Probably should have since it was a nice day... Lost the morning baking pies to take in to work, so that was a few hours of energy/motivation that I didn't really have this afternoon...

Yeah she just stays out of the way and let's me run my tractor. I didn't get my snowblower on last year until after Christmas. It's cold but we usually don't get much snow until January. I'd much rather put the snowblower on when its nearly 70F outside 👍
