Snowthrower ready for install

Post by propane1 »

Been working on this snowthrower for the Case 224. Didn’t use it last year. So into the shop and got her lubed up, clear coat paint, fixed the loose drive pulley on the shaft and lubed up the idler and spring loaded idler pulleys. Clear coat paint to make the snow slide good.
So gotta get the mowing deck off, and put the thrower and rear weight on. Soon.

There we go, all ready for snow removal. So with these tractors. You need about four arms or better yet two people to change attachments. Holy cats there hard to work on. But most garden tractors have tight quarters and nothing is easy. There now. Quick rant. Hehe.

Looks good Noel. Your about a month ahead of me. I still need to do my final mowing before I change things over. We got a few days in the 70's today (25C).
