Well fellas it’s that time of year again. Our tractor show it this weekend! We enjoyed the the afternoon and evening taking in the show and I thought I’d share some of the sights with you again this year.
We only saw one steam tractor on the grounds this year
Hay that looks familiar! It’s a John Deere barge wagon like mine except it has a steel frame.
They did have this steam engine on a trailer but I didn’t get to see it running.
As usual there were rows of fine examples of tractors from all sorts of manufacturers.
I’ve always liked these Allis Chalmers WD. Someday I’d like to try one out!
A row of nice International 66 series
Here a John Deere 40 series combine with a two row corn head and open station. Quite antiquated by today’s standards, but what a technological leap for its day!
Nice 1930’s Chevy
This Case 830 Comfort King is one year newer than mine. I wish I had that paint job!
It’s been at the show for years. There finally selling it. $5200. Wish I had the money and the room for it.

Here’s a beast. John Deere 820 diesel, I bet it could still pull a heck of a load.

The pulling track was wet so they ran over it with a chisel plow and let the sun dry it out some
Then just before show time it got prepped with the roller

This year we got to see the trucks pull. It was impressive.
We had a great time seeing a lot of folks we know, enjoying some good food, some good conversations, and some good pulling.
