Body work

Post by DavidBarkey »

Last 2 day I have been putting back together a Honda mini van . My main farmer client mini van had an ouchy form the kids knocking the front bumper cover and damaging the left front fender after loading up for the market . Aparently hay wagons don't get out of the way on there own . I havn't done much in the way of automotive body work in decades . Didnt expect it to have alluminum fenders and hood and then the new used fender being steel . Managed to find colour matched used parts safeing time and $$ painting and tring to match 10 year old faded paint without doing an expencive blend which again hav'nt done in decades . A trip down a gravel road and you will never know it was repaired .

Dropped off the van today and came home with 10 large broiler chickens already frozen , meat pies and a bunch of the worlds biggest and I must say the best butter tarts . Street value of around $700 :canada: for the labour on the van repairs and the potato digger repairs I did the week before . Its going to be hard to keep from gaining weight . Chickens are 8-10 lbs butchered weight . They grow them out slower and longer for much better flavour and do there own processing . When I have time I help with the processing .
