Jumpin Jimney it's muggy down here :phew: - stepped outside and it feels like you are swimming in the Humidity. It was hot and humid yesterday when I was up north, but there was a nice breeze that made things bearable. Think I'll be looking for inside jobs this week

Mid to upper 90s, bone dry and breezy down this way. Supposed to stay like this for the foreseeable future. Garden is gonna need water here pretty quick, I guess I’ll see how well the hay mulch retains moisture a watering.

It was 92 here but the shop has thick concrete walls and very tall ceilings. The doors are kept closed to retain the latent temperature as long as possible. Hopefully all goes well for the final adjustments and set up on the shear blades. 2 blades, 12' X 1" X 4", removed for sharpening took 1 hour Thursday. All day today to shim for parallel. Tomorrow will be fine tuning parallel and setting to 0.002" over 12'. During the final adjustments, I will sweat no matter what the temperature is.

Were hovering around 90F for a few days this week. Last night and tonight were low 70's with quite a sea breeze. Once the sun is about down, its enough of a wind chill that the girls get cold. Can't complain, the weather has been decent recently. Could use some rain. The lawns already burning.

Seems to be some odd weather around here so far this summer. A short ways up north of us in Iowa they are having record flooding. Down here we are having an early summer heat wave. Broke a record today, we got up to 103. We usually don’t get close to triple digits for another month or two. It’s been extremely dry here and yet we will see some mild Mississippi River flooding due to all the rain up north.

We are finally supposed to get some rain tonight but so far its missing us. I can hear the thunder all around us but nothing yet.
