Thought I would share my tale of woe in the hopes it might save one of you some headaches.
This morning I was going through my FB and Instagram accounts and saw an important message from Meta (or what looked like Meta) informing me I had violated there community standards and my account was going to be deactivated in 24 - 48 hours,

None of it made any sense and I quickly Followed the link for the appeal process so I could fix this ASAP - of course it takes you to a realistic but fake page where you enter your username and password so you can see what the complaints are -
I caught on almost immediately (but still too late
So, I've spent the day changing passwords
Watch yourselves out there, scammers are everywhere and it's so easy to get fooled, especially if you are already having a bad day full of other distractions...
