I bet your little guy had a great time. I think he needs a bigger loader. I put a lot of miles on one of these old Tonka trucks when I was a kid.

Matt! Thank you, I've been looking around for some quality loader toy. He can't get enough of tractors and such which makes me happy!

Not finished but calling it a night.

The tractors will be happier in this shelter. The vapor barrier and tarp should no longer allow all that humidity up from the ground.

I was told that if you get the UV protectant for Marine vinyls and treat the cover each spring the cover will last 10 times longer Can be applied with weed sprayer .Kinda makes sense after seeing what happen to my duck run tarp.

Indeed Dave, UV is what kills these tarps pretty quickly, if they don't have good protection. Also movement, if they're not taut on the frame, and they're allowed to be moved by the wind. This has been my experience so far. The tent I got now is made by ShelterLogic, and people are complaining recently that their UV protection is no longer so good. My older ShelterLogic has been holding up well for two years, and on the third I've started to see some evidence of lower UV protection (rips at corners). I plan to use sacrificial tarps on the roof, and following your advice, get UV spray for doors and walls. Hopefully in 3-5 years we can either win the lottery or manage to save for building a big shed.

Back wall, front zippered door and finally the top tarp. This thing is tall! But I managed to get it all done, using ropes and one too small a ladder, because my big ladder was lent to a neighbour who is now at Niagara Falls for his honey moon.

Next, tractors go in.

He borrowed it before leaving, and I just forgot about it until I had to climb up to the top of the new shelter to bypass the top link. So I just stood on the very top of the regular ladder (tall as me) and I could barely reach the top of the shelter. Lucky me it was already late at night and dark and my wife could not see what I'm doing

as we all know, safety first! right after "oh well, might as well do it"
