I might have to look at what you have for sale
I promised
I would clear 20 yrs worth of clutter out of the darkroom downstairs and give her a couple of months to print some B&W photos before we put our house up for sale... We were always too busy developing film and making prints for other people (to pay the bills) to spend much time on personal projects. Just put the Rolleiflex on eBay $1 no reserve. I dislike the whole selling thing. More to go.RoamingGnome wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 5:21 pmOoooh... that is some classic stuff
Did you list it on FB marketplace?

Re: Pictures: this moment
I understand your feelings completely, we have a ton of film cameras, lenses and darkroom equipment that does not make sense to hold on to. I have a weakness for old cameras, in my collection of vintage there are box cameras, folding Kodaks, a 4x5 Graflex, and then there is the "real" stuff - 35mm Nikons, and 4x5 studio camera - I'm glad (sad) I was able to sell my Mamiya 6x7 and lenses to a friend while it was still worth something
Just me thinking about the "good old days"

Re: Pictures: this moment
The road to nowhere.
I came across this old one lane bridge today. I’d say it’s been a long while since it was in use. It still had a wood deck but the steel substructure is very rotten. Probably won’t be standing for much longer but it does make for a nice fall picture.
