Re: Pictures: this moment
The cat that gets me in trouble dragged this Mitsubishi L3E engine in. 3 cyl diesel. Another one of those moments when I'm wondering what it'll go in.

Outstanding! And you say I’ve got a big magnet in my truck!
I think our trucks have the same problem!
Seriously I can’t wait to see what you decide to put it in!
What do you know about it? Is it running?

Re: Pictures: this moment
@Eugen The Mitsubishi L3E engine is to small for the 680E and too big for a 220 so what is your dream for it?

Re: Pictures: this moment
@JSinMO hehe, yes
. What I know about it is that apparently it was in a Toro mower that got in a roll over trailer accident and the mower got damaged beyond repair. The guy bought the damaged mower with plans of using it in a generator. The engine starts right away and runs cleanly, no smoke at all. It's also complete with everything, alternator, radiator, engine mounts. All it needs is a battery. And of course it needs a way to couple it to a hydraulic pump.
@Spike188 , as size goes, it would do a good job in the crawler backhoe. But I'm not sure, there are possible future life events which make it very likely I'll be selling the crawler dozer (keep the backhoe though). A lot of uncertainty right now.
This engine caught my attention because it's complete, on diesel, runs well, was not far, and the price was decent.
