Guess we must of had a bit of wind...

Was out picking up walnuts off the back yard before mowing it (nobody likes walking on a lawn full of soft green golfballs :cuss: ) noticed a whole bunch of walnuts behind the parts Suzukis...

:headbash: Don't think that's going to buff out...

Looks like it's going to be another bumper crop for black walnuts this year - I usually take 20+ 5 gal pails of black walnuts to the local transfer station, not much call for urban sourced black walnuts, and we get rid of them asap to avoid a bumper crop of squirrels in the fall

I thought I was going to have a chance to use my new cordless chainsaw, but the Milwaukee 12v "Hatchet" was more than enough to clean up the big branches...

:O Yeah, busted it up real good.

Tempered glass, so it went everywhere

I was contemplating gathering up a 120' of extension cord and hauling the shop vac out to the back corner of the yard (mostly wanted to get the glass out of the grass) - Pleasantly surprised that the cordless vacuum worked so well...

The sidekicks were retired when the bodies rotted out, plan is to pull power train and driveline for swapping into a Samurai project truck and then the rest (or is that "the rust" ) is off to the scrapyard soon after...

We have a lot of walnut trees on this place too. We had the same issue here when the wind blew. A lot of walnut laden branches on the ground, but thankfully no broken windows. Suck that there was glass to clean up but glad to here this was a parts vehicle.

That would be a good sticker for a toolbox - but a lot of supervisors don't have much of a sense of humour :109:
