Nice to see some green. at home we still have snow in the woods and shady areas but can at least see the brown grass. This afternoon I drove three hours north to the cabin.

There's still two feet of snow on the ground and 10" to 18" predicted for tonight.

I was toying with the idea of a little trencher, sometimes I need one for wires and shallow water lines. I had ran across a small one with a bad engine and was thinking about converting it to hydraulic drive and running it off the 4118. It sold quick and I missed it.
I don't think a trencher is a much used attachment for the average person.

We’re getting some heavy storms right now but yes things are greening up nicely around here!

I sure hope all that snow you all still have up that way doesn’t give us floods down here in a month or two!

Last major flood we had was in 2019. River was within 6 inches of the record. Here’s a couple of pictures of the levee we build to protect our little down town area.

Had our own boat launch right in town!

I came up to get my boat home to be ready for the walleye run. The Wisconsin river has been pretty low but coming up with the melting.

thats an awful flood , hope it doesn't happen again . 2' of snow still and more on the way . Up here in "The Great White North" Waverley had a good steady rain over night , so I expect to see what little snow we had left mostly gone by mornings light .

Wow! - Sincerely hope you don't see flooding like that again... once in a lifetime is once too many - I'm always amazed at what determination and countless sandbags can do to hold back the water...

So machines like this forklift and the big old giant trencher version that Case made way back in the day makes me ask myself what kind of rear axles they were running to put all that weight on.

Because the more time I spend examining and pondering the rear axle in my 4000 series, the more delicate it looks!

It seems like only a crazy person would hang a forklift or a big thousand pound trencher assembly off the back of this axle.
