k301 stalling

k301 stalling
K301 will start and run great for 20 min. and then stumbles dies . Coil and condenser have been replaced . Good voltage out of the starter/generator . What are your ideas guys?

My guess is coil acting up or exhaust valve getting hot and valve sticking open?

If it runs just a little more if you give it choke when it starts stumbling it could be fuel delivery.
More troubleshooting needed. When it restarts, is it only when cold or right after?

This sounds similar to the trouble I had with the Onan in the 648. Ran for about twenty minutes then stumbles and dies. Mine was fuel delivery. Bowl would go dry

Any farther along with this trouble Dave. I was thinking the points plunger might be sticking when hot.

Rainy day today and shop full . I plan to run it tommorrow and do some testing when it stalls now that I have some tings to look at .
