Poor old door about 45/50 years old. I’ve lived here 30 years. Panels all bad from sweating in the winter time with heat on. Was scared they’d blow in or snow push them in in a snow storm. They should do for my time now.

What a great project for a Saturday!Propane57 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 10, 2022 8:10 pm All new panels in the old garage door. Did the lower 8 last Saturday. And the top 4 today. Got it all scrapped. Ready for the goo to seal it up. Hopefully done in a few weeks. Thanks to my son who has his grandfathers carpenter skills, that I missed out on, between the two of us it’s fixed. Great way to have your son to spend time with ya.![]()

Was 1/4” plywood in there Eugen. So I just put the same thing back in. I gunna try and find a primer that seals and you can put what ever type of paint over it. I used it at my sons garage two years ago on the chip board or OSB that he cussed on the inside to fix up the garage. We then put a coat of white paint over that. Worked good. Can’t remember now what it was called. But I’m sure he has a few cans of the primer and paint there, so I’ll know what it is and be able to go get some.
involved in making that decision.
