Oil has been change twice before this. So now I’m on tract with the hours. Oil change day for the Case 446. And as you can see on the floor, oil every where. :cuss: Oil drains right on top of the steering rod. :headbash: No matter where you have the wheels turned. And of course I thought it would miss it. :45: Jumpins any way. One of those days I should of stayed in bed. All day, every thing I did had some thing wrong.

I've hung a funnel under the pipe vith a wire to catch the oil which then drains into a catch pan.

Well Bob. It didn’t. I’ll add more in a second. I had moved on to this MF 7 that needed a drive belt.

Well that didn’t go very well with the MF 7. Book says 84” belt. Belt I took off measured 84” and very little. You would think that’s normal. So bought a 84” belt that is measured on the out side of the belt. Box says 84”. On the belt it says 84”. Great, should fit. No fit !! @$&£^##£$@); Scratch head for a few minutes. Figured I’ll measure the new belt. Should not have to, right !!! Measures 82.5”. What’s up with that. &)&@$%>£%*#>£$). Jumpins a simple little belt change. And there ya are annoyed. What a day.

I have some stuff like that too. I cut the side out of a antifreeze jug and use that to direct the oil into my oil pan.

I hear you. I hate dealing with belts. I can almost guarantee I’ll have to make 2 trips to get the right size.

I have my local belt supplier on speed dial . Pluss I keep a stock of NOS (didn't fit) belts as well as some used ones to use for sizing when something comes in with no or destroyed belt .

Your supplier is probably better than what we have around here. Your pretty much on your own to get the size you need. Which would be fine except I always seem to find a way to pick the wrong one!
I try to keep extra belts around too, but naturally when I need one I don’t have the right size! I stared keeping the cardboard sleeve the belts come in and write on it what it fits. Next time I need on I can look at that and know what size I need.
