Fun filled tractor day Noel! That tall grass needs a sickle mower don't you think?

That would be nice to have and try Eugen. But, don’t have one. The long grass should have been cut first of July. But no. Not done. I’ll either use the YT16H Ford or the MF 16 to cut that. Or the 1951 ferguson tractor with 6’ rear discharge finish mower, maybe. Then the grass is left to dry. I have an Estate Rake I use to make it into rows. Need bailer, but no bailer, so I use the bucket on the MF 12 loader tractor and I start at one end and keep pushin till the end and pick it up. Works surprisingly well. Then I give it to my sister in law and she puts it on her garden to help control the weeds.
Ahhh, that feels go to have a ramble.

I’ve been picking hay the same way! It does work well. I make a little haystack out of it and bed the chickens with it.

Well. That’s neat. I thought I was the only one doing that with a loader.
What model number is the Case tractor. You may have mentioned that before, but I would never find that.

LOL! I thought I was the only one too! Started doing it out of necessity.
The tractor is a 1965 Case 830 Comfort King. It’s been a really good machine for us.

If the yt16h or the mf16 can cut that tall grass without getting stuck I'm really impressed. My 444 can do small patches of tall grass but only little at a time and going forward backward and repeat.
