Question about 224

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if the 224 came with a different engine than the 14 horse that the data shows. I came across an Ingersoll 224 that has a 12 horse Kohler in it. I assume it is a replacement?

I think it has to be a repowered machine.

Yes, I think I would have to agree. The tractor is fairly rough but has the hydraulic hitch as well as the rear hydraulic valve set up to run the hydraulic tiller etc.

Those are hard to find on their own around here.

I'm not to familiar with the 200 series machines. I did get a 226 doanated to me last year that has a Onan B48 in it. Looks like a winter project this winter, so I'll be getting more aquainted with the 200's this year.

I was out at the cabin this weekend so got back to the tractor. Got the bolt out. It was indeed left hand thread. A little bit of impact persuasion and out it came. I kind of buggered the head though from my previous attempt!
