Sometimes you are the windshield, sometimes you are the bug.

Some people are like clouds, when they leave it turns into a beautiful day ;)

Some people are as useless as Slinkies, but fun to watch when you push them down the stairs :O

Better to be pissed off, than pissed on :cuss:

One I heard from dad a lot as a kid.
Children are supposed to be seen and not heard :33:

I was told that my grandfather would say "One boy is a whole boy, two boys is a half a boy, and three boys is no boy at all."

He had 4 sons and there were 4 cousins across the road, all of them around the same age.

You don’t have time to do it right, but you always have time to do it twice.

I’ll beat you like a rented mule.

Let’s hurry up and go so we can get back home.

Unfortunately this applies to me so much. :(( It's not that I don't like to do things right the first time, but I feel so pressed by time and other life priorities, that I tend to get dragged into the feeling that if only I get it to work now so I get the job done, I'll surely have more time next week/next month/next year. This is something I want to change about myself now. :109:

We all do it. Delayed maintenance isn’t always bad, sometimes you gotta to what you gotta do to get the job done. It’s just when you realize you have a piece of equipment that is held together with more bailing wire that bolts that it kind of hits you!

I believe this applies to a lot of people, especially when they have a JOB. Once I retired I had to keep telling myself to slow down and enjoy the ride. Now it's been a little over two years and it's starting to sink in. It may take me awhile to complete a project but the satisfaction is tremendous!

Keep the Peace :cop:

Mine tries to remind me of this "happy wife happy life," all the time. The only time she is happy is when she is :wife: . Go figure!

I'm going to go and do something even if it is wrong.

If it's free, it's for me. Oh boy does :wife: hate that one. :D :106:
