Any way, chain sharping is the main thing on the Poulan and RedMax. And start them.
The Husqvarna muscle saw won’t idle. And I’ve beeped with that before so I don’t really think I’ll get any where with it. But I’ll look at it. Maybe.

Nice use of old roller tray... Shoulda thought of that one before. All mine are sitting on 5 gal pail lids. Same end result, catch the ooze...
When I remember, I try to crack both the fuel, and oil caps after the saw cools to relieve any internal pressure that may drive the ooze out. Seems to help on some saws, not so much on others.

Great idea, If ya remember. I know my other husqvarna saw will leave a 6” round puddle of oil under it. Shouldn’t be any pressure in it.

When your coming to PEI in July, this year, you could take those 2 decks with you and drop them off when you visit me. Then you could take the saw back to Ontario with you when you leave , right !!!!!!

Except I doubt I'll be going anywhere in July with the price of gas we got!

So got working a little on theses Beepin things. Got one saw sharpened. This one runs, so no need to do any thing there, yet. Mixed up some gas and oil. Was gunna fill the gas and bar oil, but no sense in that cause the bar oil will all leak out. So I’ll wait to do that until the very second I use it. Now I have to find the bar oil jug.
A little trick for measuring your cuts. I just put this on, so have not tryed it. A fella on you tube does this. So the twist ties are measured to what ever length of log you want. I like around 16/17”, so a piece of yellow tape to measure that. The other yellow inside tape is at about 12” inches. So I have to cut four cord at 12” or so and the rest at 16/17”. Twist ties are flexible enough that they may not get in the way. Once I git to cutting wood, I’ll see how it works.

yeah, I never find the wretched jug either! So I just bought another one when I was in the Stihl stealership just so I could not say my trip was useless. But I have a lot of expectations from this bar oil, it came in a nice orange jug and it says Stihl on it. Plus it was made in I used some in my Homelite which was made in and as a testament of how our two great countries get together so well, the saw worked real nice with that oil!!!
