Dave, it's always a good feeling knowing your in demand. At the same time it can get overwhelming too. Good thing your grandson is at a perfect age to learn how to make money and learn as he goes. Some bonus help for you too. I use to live in the metro Detroit area as a kid growing up. At age 12 I delivered the Macomb daily. Got home from school and out the door I went tossing papers at doors. Thinking back I'm at my father's age when I had the paper route. He used to get up at 4am with me to deliver the Sunday paper. Those sunday papers were thick. We had to put the most of the sections together before delivery. He still thanks me to this day that I only did the paper route for 2 years.. lol

Got my lawn mowed and bagged for the first time this season on Saturday. I'm about 2 weeks behind the rest of the neighborhood. Some parts of the lawn were thick and up to 10" tall while other parts were bone dry and not growing. Woke up this morning and the yard was covered in frost again :headbash:

I mowed yesterday for the first time in some of my wet areas. Mud tire tracks everywhere and grass was at least six inches high in some areas. It's been warming up nicely and starting to work on some other outside projects. Last night we had a FROST! They were predicting this and I said " No Way!" When I got up at 6am the grass was all white! Almost the middle of May and a FROST! If this continues, I'll be second guessing of even putting a garden in.

Keep the Peace :cop:

Last fall the steering came apart while vacuuming leaves. Got it back together the next day but rain then snow started. Finally had 5 days with no rain, so yesterday I got out to try and get the rest of the leaves picked up. It went pretty good, not a lot of snow this winter to pack the leaves down. We have been running 20-30 degrees (F) below normal for most of this spring so only cut up to 1.5" of grass in some spots, other spots nothing.
