Big Storm today

We got a lot overnight and into this morning. They were calling for anywhere between 30-50cm (12-20") and they were right. Most we've had down here in quite a while. The 444 pushed through it really well, although one set of chains came off 3 times. I added a bungee to take up a bit of the slack for now and it seems to have solved the issue.

It was a lot of fun this morning clearing it all up. Still amazed by how powerful and capable these tractors are! I think my second oldest daughter is too - we did a few laps once dad had it all cleared away :)

Took a short video too. Hope the link works!

@Chad nice pictures! The video link works! That 444 of yours has a nice ring and definitely pushes well! I used only the snow caster today and it was fun! Our toddler, Timothy, fell asleep with me on the 444 while blowing snow. I keep him in between me and the steering wheel so it's completely safe. So I saw his head falling forward and couldn't believe it, because indoors getting him to nap in the afternoon is a struggle lately.

Your daughter looks like she's enjoyed the snow!

My sister found that one trip around the block with my nephew in his car seat was generally enough to put him to sleep. Then one day for just grins she put him in the car seat and started the car, while she leaned against the fender for a smoke. Smoke done so was the kid ;)

That's right @Gordy , he falls asleep usually on my way back from visiting @DavidBarkey . Therefore visiting Dave is useful in many ways

Thanks Dave, yes we love it here and are lucky. Gord that's the perfect caption lol. Eugen I hear ya re: naps. Always working around their schedules and making noise, but that's okay, it's not forever. My oldest daughter also wanted a ride, and their of the age where we're still working on taking turns and being patient, but I won't have both up with me. It'll get even trickier when our son starts asking for rides, but then we can have 2 in the dump cart and one with me :)

Noel It's the most snow we've had since we've been here (5 years). We're making up for the lack of snow earlier this winter. They cancelled school again today so we'll all get out to enjoy it some more (although my wife's board did not, but she's still on mat. leave for another month so we're all off today).
