Colt Case Ingersoll Garden Tractors

I recently rearranged my shop to be more easily accessible. I had metal working equipment in three different areas, so I consolidated them in one area. That freed up some other space in the weld area, to make it also easier to work in. I'm still working on it, which is always a pleasure to improve the shop.

The yellow curtains are Welding curtains, but I'm usually in there by myself. They also help keep the smoke from going into the rest of the building and direct it out the exhaust fan mounted on the wall. I'm currently working on mounting a 6"x48" belt sander that I recently acquired. An old school Craftsman that had a 1/16 hp motor on it. I'm changing that out to a 1/3 hp motor. Always something to do in the shop!

What a nice shop you have Harry! As I have been forced to rearrange my tiny shop many times, I know that good feeling when it happens! Thank you for sharing!

Great looking set up Harry . I hope to some rearranging in my shop in the new year . But first need to get some projects out of the way to make room to do so . Your setup has help me with direction to streamline mine .

Dave I can agree with you about the projects are in the way to rearrange. I purchased a lift table on wheels from HF a few years ago and it helped tremendously. It even lifted my lathe and my milling machine that is on a cast iron table. Good luck on moving machines when the time is right.

At our house there is extreme shop rearrangement going on. The storage building in town sold unexpectedly and I was not willing to spend $6500 for a seacan, plus delivery for short term storage. So the 30 foot trailer was packed with welders, plasma cutter, smoke hogs, pumps, and the rest of the stuff was relegated to the drive way. two forklift later and the smaller and lippie partner said "This place is looking like a junk yard." I couldn't agree any less so a steel fence that part of a brother-in-laws stash in the same building was commandeered and thrown up to hide the stash from the neighbors.

Hopefully we will be building a toybox here in the spring.

Wow Spike , you got your hands full there . Ya the price of seacans has doubled in the last 2 years .

Oh wow @Spike188 , that must've been really stressful. Hopefully you have the weather sensitive machinery out of the elements!
