new spin on old song

I am dreaming of GREEN Christmas , just like the ones they have down south .
Where you can open you mouth without see your breath.
Where we can ride our on tractors all day on an endless tank of fuel .
Where we can meet and show off our toys in temperature's of joy .
Where the hunting and fishing stories last longer than the day light .
Where the only thing colder than the beer is the wife's stare when we talk about the next tractor .
I am dreaming of a GREEN Christmas , just like the ones down south.
Please add your own lines to it
Dave

That's hilarious Dave!
My version :
I'm dreaming of a green Christmas, just like they have down south,
Feeling a nibble on my foot, as it rests in an aligator's mouth!

Life is full of little compromises

The house is littered with green toy tractors, hats and other green related knick knacks

I told her if she really wanted one to get a job and buy one, showed her the price for a new one

and had her talk to a buddy who is a big green fan about his breakdowns and what it cost to fix them. Well that stopped the conversation

Get a 3014, park it at your friend's place, paint it green and yellow and slap a couple of jd stickers on it. She'll never know the difference and you gets big honey points

Maybe blue would be a better color?
Maybe not? But just think of the quality time you could spend together.

I'm dreaming of an Orange Christmas
Just like Winneconne, Wisconsin used to build
Where the children frolicked
and the tractors were All Hydraulic
Before North American Manufacturing was killed.
I'm dreaming of an Orange Christmas
Before Kubota and Yanmar were around
In a world without big box stores
And we weren't competing with free or cheap labor from offshore
And there were still stores and businesses downtown.
I'm dreaming of an Orange Christmas
I think the world was simpler way back then
But time, it just passes
And I probly have rose colored glasses
And things just can't be the same again.
May your Christmas tree be festive and adorned!
And may all your lawn tractors.......
...be Orange!
(Or maybe Desert Sunset....)

If I was a golfer, that would be my cart. Painted original Desert Sunset of course.

No battery power, you're going to hear me coming.
